This is a photo-making tool, not an official document issuer or a guarantee of photo compliance. Check the receiving authority’s requirements before submitting a photo.
1. Provider and scope
These terms cover the Android app 证件照工坊 (com.codex.idphoto) and related informational website provided by Fidei Trading Limited. Please read these terms and the Privacy Policy before use. Contact: addaeisidore@gmail.com.
These terms do not replace statutory rights or expand the App’s access to device information or photos.
2. Features and permission to use
The App provides person segmentation, background changes, cropping, image adjustment, print layouts, and image export. We grant you limited, non-exclusive permission to use the App on your device in accordance with these terms and applicable law. Core image processing is on-device and does not require our photo-processing server.
The current version has no active paid subscriptions or advertising. Any future paid features will disclose their prices, payment terms, and cancellation rules separately.
3. Your photos and rights
Rights in your photos and exported images remain with you or the applicable rights holders. These terms do not transfer ownership of your photos to us or grant us permission to use them for advertising or model training. You must have the right to process your chosen photos and obtain permission from depicted people or their guardians where required.
4. Responsible use
Do not use the App for impersonation, forged official documents, violations of privacy or intellectual property, or other unlawful activity. The App makes image files; it does not issue passports, identity cards, visas, or any official identity document.
5. Photo rules and AI limitations
Templates are dimension shortcuts, not a complete or current statement of an issuing authority’s requirements. Segmentation and automatic composition may fail with fine hair, shadows, occlusion, poor light, or complex backgrounds. The App does not automatically validate every official photo requirement.
Before submission, check dimensions, head proportions, expression, background, file format, and the receiving authority’s current rules yourself. The App, Google, and our company do not represent an issuing authority. We do not guarantee acceptance or that the App replaces professional photography.
6. Saving files and user actions
Back up files you need before clearing App data, uninstalling, changing devices, or deleting images. Clearing history does not remove gallery, cache, or recipient copies; export storage differs by Android version as explained in the Privacy Policy.
Sharing transfers the chosen image to the third-party app you select. Check the recipient and permissions before proceeding.
7. Third-party components and platforms
The App uses Google ML Kit and Android camera, file-picker, storage, and sharing functionality. Cloudflare hosts this website. Third-party components and services may have their own terms, including Google ML Kit Terms & Privacy. These terms do not grant intellectual-property rights in third-party materials that we do not own.
8. Availability and updates
Performance varies with device, operating system, memory, photos, and third-party components. We may correct, update, or discontinue features or versions, giving appropriate notice of material changes. Website access and some SDK diagnostic communications may use the internet; core image processing can run offline.
9. Responsibility and statutory rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation or fitness for every particular purpose. Check outputs and keep appropriate backups.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, consumer protections, or other statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Any limitation applies only to the extent the law permits.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms for functional, platform, or legal changes and show a new effective date. Material changes will receive appropriate notice. Matters requiring separate consent will not be treated as consented to merely because this page changes.
